1. Who we are
Dear Parents and Carers is a trading name of Rose Green Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a UK education platform founded by Ms Kay Green, providing newsletters, consultations, live events, workshops and guides for families and schools. Rose Green Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: info@dearparentsandcarers.com.
2. The personal data we collect
Information you give us. Your email address when you join our mailing list. Your name, email address and answers to booking questions when you book a call through our booking provider. Your booking and payment details when you buy an event ticket through our ticketing provider (we never see or store your full card details; payments are handled by the provider's payment processors). Anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically. Our website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Embedded content on our pages, such as Instagram posts, is served directly by those platforms and may set their own cookies, governed by their privacy policies.
3. How we use your data
- To send you the newsletter you signed up for, and occasional news about our events, guides and services (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To arrange and run your booked calls and event places (performance of a contract).
- To reply when you contact us, keep proper business records, and improve what we offer (legitimate interests).
- To comply with legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run parts of our website and services: our email and CRM platform for the mailing list, Calendly for call bookings, and Luma for event ticketing and payments. Each processes your data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose data where required by law, or as part of a business transfer, in which case you would be notified.
5. How long we keep it
Your email address stays on our list for as long as you're subscribed. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from our marketing list. Booking and ticketing records are kept only as long as needed for the service and reasonable business record-keeping.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access a copy of the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased where there's no lawful reason to keep it; restrict or object to our processing, including for direct marketing; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@dearparentsandcarers.com. We'll respond within one calendar month and won't charge for a request.
If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
7. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults: parents, carers, and the professionals who work with them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We'll update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will always tell you when it was last revised.
